I feel awful, I've been away from blogging for a long while now. I've been getting a lot of requests to post more photos of the house so I figured I'd do it by room. Just to clarify the house is done being painted (thank goodness!) and we're still trying to decorate, but at least I can show you some of the furniture and how the walls turned out!
Living Room:
That couch is my favorite piece of furniture in the house. It's this wonderful super soft corduroy couch that both Kyle and I fit on sitting however we like without overlapping (and therefore there's no complaining from him...). The pillows often get in the way, but I don't have the heart to take them off the couch because they match so perfectly.
I know I've already shown you all pictures of the green wall, but I think it's so beautiful next to the grey :)
I am really happy that I decided to keep the window sills and the edges around the sliding glass doors white. The contrast makes me happy and it looks so clean.
Here's our green wall with the tv, the clock Kyle's in love with, and the lamp that we already had that just happened to match so well! I love when things work out.
Then there's the green shelves that Kyle found that match the green wall with the bird's Tim gave us and the brushed metal vase's that my amazing family got me for my bridal shower!
Against this grey wall the canvas and black shelf look excellent. I'm glad there was a great place to put these.
The living room really turned out to be great: the colors and the contrast... I just LOVE it.
Kitchen/ Dining Room Area:
So the cabinets aren't on yet in this picture, but if you look at the ceiling you can see how grey the walls are. I really love it. Once again, the window sills really make me happy. We bought the dining room table from a guy that was going back to the states and I really think it matches well with the house. I have to say that there's nothing more annoying than fingerprints on that glass.

Lots of iTunes, dirty old cheer shoes, water and lotsss of paint. :)
After the first coat.... I was a little scared.

Five coats later and some touch ups... Tah Dahh!! Kyle fed the air condition wire through the ceiling since the plug is on the opposite wall. He's going to put up some molding right there so that the wire will blend in the wall.
Here's the closet that use to be the red and blonde looking wood and now its all white! i really love how it turned out. I'm not crazy about the flat finish, but I like that all the door are the same color now (matching things is a luxury or takes hard work... this took 5 coats).
Grey wall with the beautiful artwork that Cyndi gave me for Christmas sitting in the window. It has an inscription on it that says "True love doesn't have happy endings, because true love never ends."
Hope you enjoyed my little tour. I don't have any pictures of the guest room and the office yet just because it's awfully messy in both of those rooms. Really soon though we'll fix them up and I will most definitely post some pictures.
Thanks for your patience!!
