We were more than a little grateful when Ryan and Caitlin (the couple we met at the airport) invited us to stay with them until we found a place to live. Before we could even take up their offer, a man that worked with Kyle offered us his apartment while he would be away for the next 6 months. We saw the apartment and realized that Javier had seriously underrated it. It was extremely clean, had vaulted ceilings, was entirely furnished and was just big enough for two people. We accepted the offer and moved in last Friday. This is the view from our windows.

We have been trying to get a feel for where everything is on this island. Roundabouts are extremely common here and before I moved here I had never used one. Needless to say, they can really turn you around!

Well I'm off to see if I can find a place for everything in this apartment so that we can stop living out of bags!
